| For those looking for a do-it -yourself, unguided, hunting trip... Secluded privately owned camp, in Springfield, ME, with 28 acres, approx. 5 miles south of Route 6, surrounded by hundreds of additional acres open to hunting. Nearest camp over ½ mile away. Property is mostly wooded, with a small field with several apple trees. The cabin comfortably sleeps 4, with gas lights, stove, heater, wood stove, and outhouse. The owner will supply firewood, propane, wash water, and cooking utensils. You will need to supply drinking water, bedding, and your own food. You can also bring your 4 wheelers. The cabin is available for unguided hunting for bear (possibly 2 bait sites), moose, and deer in zone 19; at $800.00 per week. A security/cleaning deposit of $500.00 is also required. Check in is available after noon on Sunday, and you must check out before 9 a.m. the following Sunday.
